NEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has stirred up a wave of uncertainty among Class 12 students by postponing the Psychology exam initially slated for March 27th, 2024. Consequently, the examination will now take place on April 4th, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM. This sudden alteration has left students grappling with unexpected changes in their study schedules.
Following an unfortunate incident at a single exam center where question paper packets for the Psychology exam were reported missing, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has taken the decision to postpone the examination.Sangeeta Bhatia, the board’s deputy secretary, has confirmed this postponement and emphasized the importance of exam centers promptly handing over question papers to the convenor.
This marks the second instance within a month where the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has been compelled to reschedule a Class 12 examination. The Chemistry exam, originally slated for February 26th, was postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” sparking speculations of a question paper leak, although CISCE refrained from officially addressing these rumors.

The official notice reads: “Kindly note, one of the ISC Year 2024 Examination Centres has reported the Question Paper packet of the forthcoming ISC Year 2024, Psychology Examination, lost.
In view of the above fact, the ISC Year 2024 Psychology Examination, scheduled for Wednesday, 27th March 2024, has been postponed.
The Examination has been rescheduled for Thursday, 4th April 2024, 2:00 P.M.”
