NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for fresh admissions to the January 2024 session. Originally slated to close on January 29, the registration period was prolonged to February 15. The university further extended the last date for students to complete the registration process until March 10, 2024.Consequently, applicants now have until March 20, 2024, to apply for programmes offered in online distance learning and online mode.
Interested candidates can submit their applications on the official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Additionally, applicants are encouraged to explore government scholarship opportunities on the national scholarship portal at scholarships.gov.in after confirming their admission.
A social media post on X said: Last date for “Fresh Admission offered in ODL/Online Mode for the January, 2024 Session” for all Programmes has been extended till 20 March, 2024. Last date for “Re-registration” for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for the January 2024 session has been extended with late fees Rs 200 till 20 March 2024.

Moreover, applications are currently open for admission to Fixed Learner Intake Programmes (FLIPs). Individuals interested in FLIP courses such as PGDMCH, PGDGM, PGDHHM, DNA, PGDHIVM, PGCMDM, and CESIVI should register at ignouflip.samarth.edu.in. The registration fee for FLIP courses is Rs. 400. Shortlisted candidates will be required to pay the course fees after receiving notification via email.
