Mumbai: Rekha Jhunhunwala, wife of late investor and stock trader Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, and her family purchased 12 apartments worth Rs 156 crore in Rockside Apartments, Walkeshwar.
The Jhunjhunwala residence, Rare Villa is located behind Rockside Apartments. Property sources said Rockside society may be going in for redevelopment. According to, the apartments were bought between Nov 2023 and March 2024.Each apartment size ranges from 1,600 sq ft to 2,500 sq ft and costs around Rs 10 to Rs 15 crore. The Jhunjunwalas have been one of the biggest investors in the city’s real estate. The stockbroker, who died of kidney-related ailments in 2022, had purchased an entire building in this locality called Ridgeway Apartments for a reported Rs 371 crore between 2013 and 2017. It was converted into an ultra-luxury private home for the family.
Last year, Rekha’s firm, Kinnteisto LLP, had bought office space in BKC for Rs 600 crore. TNN
